BLE, BLE Mesh, and BLE AoA
Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) is an energy-efficient version of Bluetooth designed for minimal power consumption. BLE Mesh extends coverage by connecting multiple Bluetooth beacons to cover a large area. BLE AoA (Angle of Arrival) enhances accuracy by detecting the angle at which signals arrive, enabling precise determination of object positions.
BLE TAGs
These are small Bluetooth beacons or tags that emit signals and are attached to the objects being tracked. Their size, casing, and complexity vary depending on specific needs, particularly to adapt to the required battery life.
Data Collection Infrastructure
This network of BLE beacons captures signals from the TAGs and other sensors to track objects within a defined space. It creates an “infrastructure” that serves as a foundation for real-time data transmission.
Additional Sensors
